Domino's Pizza Papamoa — Restaurant in North Island

My partner and I ordered 2 x-large pizzas a couple of weeks ago which were quite good. So this time, passing by Papamoa we decided to order 2 of the same vegetarian pizzas again but this time they were really disappointing cardboard-like pizzas, dry, with very little toppings so we hardly had one slice each because it was like eating pizza base with some tomato sauce on it. My partner is of an Indian descent and he told me that the reason is that the previous time it was HIM who placed the order, while this time it was ME (a woman) who did it, so the owner thought it's okay to make a sub-standart pizza (and just be greedy lol). I did encounter similar behavior before, but this time, it was just too obvious. I don't see why I should be tolerating someone's backward mentality, so I won't be ordering here again and won't be recommending it to others. Also, it's a little strange, to say the least, to see a 6 y.o. child (probably an owner's son?) attempting to take orders on a busy...

Worst customer service Placed a large order for our orchard workers. Arrived at Papamoa Dominos to be told we tried to call you but you didnt answer so we havent made anything, i said thats fine im happy to wait, made my order, took my $103, drove my order home 30 mins to find we were missing 2 pizzas and 2 cheesy garlic breads. I was told this wasn't their fault as i hadnt answered my phone... even though i had arrived instore, paid and waited for everything else to be made but these particular things that were missing "werent their fault"... they hung up on me and then took the phone off the hook so i couldnt call through to discuss options of refund or store credit. Never again, and will ensure our company and others do not order from this store...

Didn’t let me review on the site so bringing it here. I think this should e public though too. I’ve travelled this country many times and ordered at this dominoes a few times now that I live in the area. Let me just say every time I’ve received a product I’m not happy with. Their quality is far below other dominoes across the country. Here’s a pick of a DOUBLE bacon cheeseburger pizza. Not even a piece of bacon on each slice. I was pretty disappointed this is there definition of “double” I’ve also ordered this pizza elsewhere and received a far better result, many times. I wouldn’t have posted this if it was just this time, but every single time I come here I walk away disappointed. Spend your money...
