NZ Kebab&Pizza House Cambridge — Restaurant in North Island

Firstly, needs to hire more workers, I feel it's unfair to customers if they have to wait super long just cause one man has to do everything, and all our food was cold as a result. Second, but reinforcing the first, someone to serve that has more solid communication skills would benefit hugely. It was just us in the restaurant at the time of ordering, but still, key details of the order were wrong, like incorrect sizing when we asked for all large and I believe sauces were missing etc. Thirdly, there was a weird gelatinous lard-like texture lump in my food that bumped it down to such a low rating- other ratings make me believe that this is just their normal chicken, and I have never had chicken this strange in a kebab shop or any shop for that matter. TLDR service, food, and portions were not up to par in my opinion. Some more staff could really help paying more focus to all of these important details that absolutely need to be minded. I’m very dissatisfied with my meal last night. I order around 6:30pm Wednesday night. I’m so annoyed as I spent $62 on a meal for my sister and I…… it was so bad. We were waiting 5mins while he finished making our food, thats not problem but when we got home (only live 2mins from that shop) the kebab was cold and soggy & the meat tasted funny so we didn’t eat it, then the hot chips were cold, soggy and gross. Now it’s Thursday and my stomach hurts from that meal. Honestly so expensive for food we didn’t even eat because it was disgusting. I’m never coming back, work on making your basics eatable if your gonna charge an arm and leg for a meal that was COLD AND YUCK...

The food was so bad. I ordered lamb salad and for my son chicken burger combo . Firstly when my salad came it was cold meat and my son's burger came it had BBQ sauce when clearly when I placed my ordered said no sauce . He made it again for us and the salad was still yuck and omg the chicken burger was not cooked . It smelled so bad If surely my son ate that he would get food poisoning.
