Pizza Hut Whakatane — Restaurant in North Island

Is it this store's Manager that fails to train or mentor his staff properly, or is it just the laissez-faire attitude of Pizza Hut's NZ operations team that allows this attitude to permeate down of giving skant regard to their customers.

Having to wait on occassion lenghty periods for some staff member to eventually appear and offer zero apology, experiencing not one word of thanks while handing over my money, no greeting being uttered, no smile, no enthusiasm, no interest.

The above happens regularly at this unwelcoming, unattractive, inhospitable, disappointing joint.

And it's not the most inviting environment either. Cold and hard foyer, it also suffers from not being cleaned properly or regularly. This area where customers congregate awaiting the indifferent attention of the unhappy staff, could at least have some warmth introduced by way of plantings or some other attractive feature.

This isn't the first time I've told this stupid corporate about the state of their Whk outlet. I've enlightened them through their online feedback requests at least twice over the past 24 odd months.

They are fortunate that I enjoy insulting those who deserve it, so as to be repeatedly reminded in the event that they eventually come to the realization they should really...

Shouldnt even be a one star. Ordered pizza over the phone few nights ago, arrived to pick up and I was disgusted with the way I was treated. The Young girl who served me rolled her eyes at me while I asked her how long my pizza was going to take. The pizza then took another 30mins. (From this point it had almost been an hour since I ordered off the phone)when it was ready, she threw the pizza on the counter while I had my hands out for her to pass to me. I went home opened the pizza and found hair intertwined with the cheese. My kids didn't want to eat it any longer. Thanks Pizza Hut Whakatane. And Thankyou to the girl who resembled a boy. Firstly they turned the phone off so noone could make any delivery or pick-up orders. I don't order pizza that often but the guy on the front counter was rude and unhelpful and offered no help he just looked like he didn't enjoy his job and wanted me to hurry up. I know customer service and speed of service very well, but if you want the customer to come back you could at least act like you care for the couple of minutes you are talking to them and not just say no to everything, shrug your shoulder and offer no alternative option. Made me just wanna walk out. Sorry but I might go to dominos...
