Rutah's KukiHutt — Restaurant in North Island

I had heard about this place from a workmate, so I had to try it out. It’s situated on Pukuatua St (one of the busier streets in the CBD), in between Skin Graft and MSD. Pick your times to go as free parking can be a premium. Although there is a parking building further down and free parks one street over on Hinemoa St. I went after 2pm and the free 15 and 60 minute parking spots were available. There is ample seating here to sit down and eat. I got mine to takeaway. Tbh, I had every intention of taking a photo of my juicy dish BEFORE I took my first forkful, but I kinda forgot. And then when I did remember… it was too late! I’ll try to remember next time. Juicy, delicious, tender and tasty! That’s all...

The bomb island feed. Banana Poke is to die for, doughnuts are mean, the chicken, mushroom sauce, chop suey n rice, mm mm mm, I'm making myself hungry lolz. All the food is yum. Great atmosphere down at that place, and also great customer service. Big ups to Rutah and Norm for making this happen. Its awesome to have island Kai to be sold in town, yous both started off small. And now look what yous have created. Yous have created an amazing masterpiece where dad and I will continue to support you both We love what yous are doing for our Rotorua Community and wish yous all the best for continuing to sell the island feast and island...
