DriftKartz — Attraction in Bay of Plenty

We were going to go luging but it was insanely busy, and had ridiculous wait times so we decided to find something else to do. We drove past Drift Kartz and decided to check it out. The track is a simple loop with a chicane on one side but the fun of the activity comes from maxing out how sideways you can get on each turn and navigating around who you're driving with. The most welcoming worker (Mark) made us feel comfortable and at ease as first timers last year November. Since then we have been there on multiple occasions. Birthdays, spontaneous trips and even just for a gander. Awesome atmosphere Massive experience with my family and partner, easy to drive and rules are easy to follow. I would highly recommend for people to give it a crack, take your friends, partner and family for a affordable high speed, wicked experience. After driving past this place for years, I finally had the opportunity to try these karts with a work function. What a ride! Don't let the small track fool you, the speed and power of these karts are amazing if you can prove the ability to have top speed unlocked. Even though it's a race component, I recommend at least taking the chance to drift the track at top speed a couple of times! The staff were great and built the atmosphere amazingly.
