The food was decent, but service and cleanliness were awful. This is an example of why New Zealand need to keep family owned business alive and not let big commercial chain locations ruin everything like they have in America!!! Went in with my family. Spouse and two young children. After getting our food and cups for drinks, I went to the counter to ask for a cup for our 4 year old to get some water. The staff refused to give me a cup for water for a 4 year old and said there's no guarantee I'm going to get water and not soda. I told them, "I just paid for two other drinks. If I wanted soda, I would get it in one of the two cups we already paid for. " The staff again refused to give me a cup for a 4 year old to get water and said we need to pay for a full drink $4.00 because they don't take chances. Absolutely ridiculous!!! Not to mention, the entire restaurant was filthy. About 2/3 of the tables were gross and not wiped down. The floors were dirty with food, and the soda fountain area was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING with drinks and sticky residue...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe staff were great, very polite and helpfulā¦.. but this review is about the Crunchwrap supreme, everybody knows that the picture on the menu board is never the same as the actual item but come on ! The tortilla was not toasted at all, I thought they had forgotten the beef and the cheese sauce but on closer inspection (like real close, magnifying glass close) ā¦..I spotted a few specks of mince and a THIN smear of sauce. They had definitely forgotten the sour cream , no sign of any white in there just lettuce and a few diced tomatoes spread here and there. I have taken a photo of the āCRUNCHWRAP SUPREMEā on the menu board and then a photo of what I got and it is hilarious, the photo is well worth the $8:90 I paid for whatever it was I got. In the end I should of figured it out that SUPREME means supreme rip off. So to end on a positive note the Grande Burrito, although not worth $11:90, was tasty and was closer to my expectations. I have had Taco Bell many times in America and I think management need to visit there to see...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is the second time Iāve gone to Taco Bell and had an issue. I asked for black beans which the cashier confirmed over speaker, then they purposely gave me beef, as you can see from the photos it is tucked away, if I didnāt check, I would have eaten it. Not able to go in and replace as itās closed for the night. Also asked if it was possible to have extra sauce and she shut the window on me. The last time I was here there was a rock in my food as well, not happy with the response from management, these things need to be dealt with accordingly, what is the point in selling plant-based food if you give others meat. This has happened many times if you ask for BLACK BEANS that...
