Went for lunch with my fiance and her father. Firstly, they double charged us for a round of drinks - which we didn't notice at the time. Secondly, it took our food (basic fare) over an hour to arrive. We enquired several times and were told it was the next order out. We were then told they'd misplaced the docket so the order was never put through. One staff member said they would reimburse some of our meal - at which time we realized we were double charged for the drinks. We then had to prove this by showing a second staff member a copy of an internet banking screenshot. They offered to refund us for the overcharged drinks bit then renegged on the offer to comp some of our meal. The second lady, who identified herself as the Manager, blamed the other staff member and said she "doesnt know what she's doing" and said she wasn't used to dealing with people like us. The implication that we were being unreasonable was particularly insulting. She eventually agreed to take a $14 appetizer off the bill and we left feeling particularly frustrated. Needless to say, we won't be going back. I suggest the venue looks at this as a learning experience. The Manager may wish to reevaluate her attitude...
Read moreI booked a table for 7 on Saturday and confirmed with the lady it would be for Sunday at 12:30, I asked her a few questions and we both confirmed that my booking was for Sunday 12:30. On Sunday when I got there with my family, Young girl served me and I told her we had a booking for 7 at 12:30, she went through the diary and couldn’t find anything. She asked me what the name and number was and for some reason it wasn’t there on the bookings. This really annoyed me as I confirmed with who ever on the phone twice it would be Sunday 12:30. The girl went out to the back and talked to duty manager, it had been written on Monday but it was packed of course that’s why I booked. They moved us into speedway bar but couldn’t understand why we couldn’t have sat outside as a spare table for 7 or more people but two kids were sitting at it while the parents were at another table. An older woman came looking for me and apologised for her mistake but it wasn’t good enough, she really didn’t seem to care. That was the first time we dined there as first time we weren’t aloud to be served at all. Also bartender was sick and coughing around us while we were eating....
Read moreGot uber eats, said 20-30 minute wait, pick up time set for 7:30pm we show up got told to wait aside (tiny room with staff's bags, lady smoking right outside & the staff working around us), staff weren't friendly or welcoming from the start but it just got worse from then on, it was 7:45 so I ask a staff member how long they think we will be waiting and she responded with "well we are busy", I ask her again as I didn't want to wait 30m or something she responds "I told my manager to put an hour wait time on uber", so I never got an answer. I had plans for the night so I just wanted to know how long i would be there for, I walk away and wait again and can hear the staff in the kitchen talking about us, obviously taking how I said what I said wrong and just complaining about us. When the food was ready a worker didnt even look at us and said "here" and walked off, absolutely disappointing and awful service/attitudes. When you spend $100 you don't expect to be treated like that, won't be supporting...
