Best eggs Benedict I’ve had. I came here with my partner over the Easter weekend and ordered the eggs Benedict with bacon and also added potato rosti additionally. The eggs were cooked to perfection, the hollandaise sauce was great! And the chutney that they had to it OMG! That really made the dish. I normally feel like eggs Benedict sometimes makes me feel like it’s just too rich.. but having the chutney was really refreshing! It bought new flavours to the dish where I didn’t feel like the meal left me feeling like I had “too much”. My partner also ordered the eggs Benedict with salmon and that was good too! It tasted really refreshing! We also bought a ginger tea and a lemon lime and bitters which were delish! Everything came to around $70ish.

After a lovely walk along the parade, enviously examining the multi-million dollar dwellings, we had built up a healthy appetite. Our destination was pre-determined as the small menu looked fantastic - and it totally lived up to expectations. Lovely fresh ingredients and flavours. The chili scramble was a delicious experience but I’d recommend an additional side as the portions aren’t generous and any type of scrambled eggs can be rather one-note. I went for a side of avocado. The asparagus were sweet and moreish according to my partner, who claimed it to be the best brunch she’d ever had!

Had a great experience at Tay Street Beach Kitchen! The location is fantastic, with both indoor and outdoor seating options — perfect for enjoying the beach vibe regardless of the weather. We ordered the Eggs Benedict, Sticky Chicken Salad, and the Smashed Avo — all beautifully presented and full of flavour. The standout, though, was definitely the crispy potato skins — super crunchy and delicious, though just a touch on the oily side. Service was friendly and efficient, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Will definitely be back!

Over priced & nothing special. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Spent $160 for 4 people and everyone had to lap up their disappointment/hunger with a delicious ice cream from Tay St Store next door.

Came for a late lunch (2pm) and ended up having to order from the dinner menu - disappointing given it was the weekend and the options on this menu are incredibly limited. 2pm is also so early!!!

The server said the salad, burger and fish and chips were a ‘main’ size, so we ordered 2 fish and chips and 2 salads for 4 people.

Had the salad for ($28) which was tiny. I really don’t know how this price was justified!!! $16 would have been more appropriate!

The fish and chips were average ($32) Chips under seasoned, tasted like cheap supermarket chips and absolutely nothing special. Smoothies were also average. We had to change as they told us after they didn’t have enough ingredients. So disappointing when there’s so many other great places around, and when the neighbouring cafe absolutely crushes...

Below average service with untrained staff serving wrong information. There were on two different occasions this happened. One was about drinks and how we weren't able to order drinks due to the Easter Friday rules (I questioned it since it was Saturday) and she had said it was for the whole weekend and that we were only allowed 1 drink. We wanted to wait the 20 minutes with a drink to order off the lunch menu and she said that was not possible and the drinks had to be on hold. The second was telling us there was alcohol and a spirit of our choice in a drink and then it being served without it. There was no service to check if your food was ok or if you wanted more drinks which left us feeling uncared for and not really worth spending nearly $100 for 2 people. If you want to go to a resturaunt and get your own cutlery, water, serviettes, and sit at an unwiped table then this is the place to go. Don't believe the hype. Hospitality as we know it is dying and you're needing to spend more money to...

We ate here several times over the last few days.

Yesterday the lunch was outstanding! My wife raved about the duck salad.

Breakfast this morning was good but I must say we were very very very... did I mention very DISAPPOINTED!!

I simply wanted scrambled eggs rather that fried on the Mexican eggs and the kitchen was UNWILLING to accommodate.

The waitress pointing out a very small clause that they would not change the menus options. She told me that management had a meeting with an the staff emphasize this earlier in the week. 🤯

I almost never give a bad review by feel compelled to let the management know that of the hundreds of cafes and resteraunts we have eaten at I have never never never did I mention never had so much INFLEXIBILITY!!!

There were probably a 3/4 full maybe dozen tables of people.

There are plenty of other cafes who will go out of there way to accommodate you of you have special requests not that my request was...
