The Orchard Thieves TAURIKO — Restaurant in North Island

I have no idea what the food taste like as I never got the chance to. I found the customer service over the phone line very degrading. I phone in on the 11 November at 4.22pm and male answered. This was my first time in ordering and I was ordering on my daughter in-law behalf. As she didn't have her card I didn't have a problem with this. She wanted an Angus burger, Lava Cake and a can of sprite. This person who answered, questioned me, what kind of angus. I had no idea that there were other angus burgers but he sound very annoyed at me that I didnt no that their were other angus burgers. I have the mention that we were on speaker phone as I am a tutor at Te Wananga o Aotearoa and my students heard this whole conversation going down. After getting the order sorted out I mention that I would like to pay this on-line. This person yelled at me an said no you can't and that yelled you are just wasting his time and that I need to order on-line. I apologies about this and that I didn't know the processes on how to do this. He continue to yell at me and berated for this. My students were telling me to hang up. I am nearly 60 years old and didn't this from him, I apologies again if he thought I had wasted his time, and then hung up. This person really needs 101 training on customer service. I'm a bit disappointed actually and unfortunately. I ordered on line for a pick up at 5pm. The reply message said my order would be ready for pick up at 4.47pm so when I got there food had already been sitting on a bench for 5 mins or so, not in a warmer. So by the time I got home, pizza and kimera fries were cold. I asked for pinapple to be added to my Italian pizza which had clearly been added cold on top after cooking as it wasn't even slightly warm, probably adding to the coldness of my pizza. Flavour was noting special and I dont understand why I had to pay extra for a thinner base. I am a pizza lover so it was sad to see something that could have done really well,...

Amazing staff and amazing pizzas. I did notice a sign asking people to BE KIND as some of the staff have exemptions but unfortunately the person who placed a review clearly doesn't know how to read. The owners and staff try extremely hard especially during these trying times and someone who shouldn't be out and about with all her health issues tries to destroy a small family business.
