Villa Nine — Restaurant in North Island

The coffee was lovely. The presentation is lovely. And lovely design inside and out. I was excited to finally find a cafe that does gf etc. And wanted to support local. However, because of the customer service 🙄 it makes me not want to come back. I was new to the Hauraki and the girl serving me seemed impatient at my dotting around (my first time admiring); I enjoyed the cat, and the outside garden and coffee. I like to relax at cafes and when I know it's good I go back and recommend it. Another time I was accused of opening an oil product on the sales table, and told off after I admitted I smelt and tried it. I understand people might tamper with 'new' products but I did not this one it was already opened perhaps why it was on the sales, but at least offer testers..instead, I was reprimanded. However after the attitude and being told off it made me not feel welcome. So for this reason, I avoid it. Perhaps the manager or owner can talk...

Muffummnnd ssomnup IP deallumnmpsh... gulp! Sorry mouth was full of awesomeness. I couldn't stop eating before telling you how great the chicken burger was. So juicy, not too much bun and heaps of veggies, slaw and lettuce to balance thee chicken and cheese perfectly. But wait there's MORE! Send no money now and receive a free set of steak knives. Oh wait that's terrible as seen on TV products. This is something you really do need to experience. Simply an excellent cafe with high quality food and friendly service. A bit more... Was good the first 2 times in went there but this time tried Warm iced chocolate - is milk refrigerated? And fries complete turned inside out -oily and no insides - cooked with temp to low, actually threw up after and only ate about 8 fries , the fries were the best the first two times, I could tell that they were gross before plate was even placed on the table , therefore I give 1 star for putting out food that was visually obviously discussing, any cook could tell that they were not ok.
