Te Aroha Memorial RSA Club Inc — Restaurant in Waikato

About a month ago, a group of friends and I decided after climbing Mount Te Aroha and having a spa we thought we’d try the RSA for some Kai. Only to walk into the RSA and be rudely greeted by a group of local elderly men saying “bend over pull down your pants show us your COVID pass, and might need to check your prostate”. We decided to ignore this disgusting behaviour and stay and eat(there aren’t many options in Te Aroha). Have been for lunch and dinner. The parking is easy and plenty quite close to the 2 entrances. Atmosphere is good and service prompt. I do find the menu has a bit too much fried foods for my taste and the salad bar very basic. Prices are very good so maybe reflected in food on offer. Great for groups for lunch or dinner but not my first choice of local restaurants. I believe there is a roast on offer 1 night a week and that it is a good meal. Families with children would probably find something good on the menu to suit all family...
