Small and unassuming but absolutely delicious!! We were just passing through on our way to hobbiton and needed lunch! I got the mince and cheese pie which was so delicious and extra flaky, my husband got the crispy chicken sandwhich and it had SO much flavor! I had a mince pie this week and sorry to say I didn't enjoy it. I love a good mince pie and I was really looking forward to it. At $9. I was expecting great things. Unfortunately the filling was very salty and too dry for my liking. I appreciate it did have a good amount of mince but there was zero gravy and I think a good pie does need some gravy for mouth feel. The pastry was good, nice and flakey but...
