We had a lovely evening tonight, at your restaurant. The Food, and Service was fantastic, 5/5! Top notch! Food; My partner and I shared a Starter and had 1 main and 1 dessert each. We had the Prawn Star as our starter meal, it was full of flavour and was presented beautifully. For our Mains we had the New Porker, the pork was good to perfection, the cracking, which is the best part was very delicious. The overall dish, was delicious, would highly recommended if you love Pork. The Stand By Your Lamb melted in my mouth and was filled with flavour and extremely moist and tender. The Feta mash was divine, honestly the best mashed potatoes I’ve ever eaten! For Dessert, we had the Banoffee Pie, which was mouth watering with an excellent Chantilly Cream. Beautifully presented. Also had the Chocolate and Boysenberry Cheesecake, the cheesecake was divine, I’m a cheesecake lover and this definitely was one of the best I’ve had. The homemade sorbet which was Mango flavoured, was very refreshing and went well with the sweetness of the cheesecake. Service; Firstly, to our waitress Fretta, you are amazing! Extremely bubbly and kind, you made our night feel extremely comfortable and enjoyable! The service from the rest of the staff overall was delightful, everyone was kind and respectful. Doing their utmost best to ensure our reservation was worth it.

Honestly..soo disappointed. Have been here in the past but man, how things have changed. Absolutely,do NOT recommend. I had pre booked 5days ahead for 4 people and in "special requests " I'd noted, it was my dear friends birthday and I'd like a cake ( which they offer ) and they had no clue, and didn't have the cake on hand either. I had arrived early to make sure they had everything in place. As there was no mention of my request once I had confirmed the reservation. I called, but they were unable to answer. They did, however, offer an alternative option, which I opted for. Then, just as we got our drinks delivered, out came the "birthday dessert" . We had not ordered any food, just to be clear. There is no team work in this establishment. Once we ordered another round of drinks, along with entrees and mains...once we ordered, we went outside to vape, and the cashier started clearing our water glasses, like seriously? Then, once our entrees came out followed by mains and still no drinks. I asked our server where our drinks were. Her response was " oh, the bar is now closed for cocktails" we ordered it was 7.45pm. Terrible communication. I Asked for MR steak, picture attached. The thing was still 'walking around'. I can not express how much of a disaster this experience was. The other 3 at the table were not impressed with their own meals, either. Half of the food was not eaten and and nothing was offered to rectify or improve. We were still charged the full amount. For the amount paid, I'd recommend going somewhere else

So this was a birthday dinner. We pre booked a table, specifying that it was a birthday dinner and got a table that was beside the toilet and on a walking pathway. We have asked to swap a table, and we have got another table again that wasn't that good, so swapper again. (I couldn't say that the staff was very nice, they were acting like they were doing us a favor, not like we are customers that came to enjoy food and time). When it came to the cocktails it was the only thing that was good, therefore I gave 1 extra star for that.(even though we waited for them for 25 minutes). They were served separately and one cocktail was partially spilled before it reached us. Food: For entree we had overbaked nachos, fair portion but it was over dried, with not enough cheese and amount of sour cream for 6nachos(not 30), some nachos stick tho the plate, I cannot say it was good enough, ribs we have got were overcooked and chicken nibbles were okay.(maybe a am just spoiled 🙂). For main course we had venison, this wasn't a cheap meal and the meat was in a very small amount, we were disappointed. The other meal we had was fish and it was family okay. Coming to the birthday cake, we didn't get offered that(the small one with a candle), so maybe it was discontinued but we felt that no one really cared about us. Attaching a picture of the nachos below :) I don't want to seem like Karen, but when you leave$ 250 you want to have good service. Quite disappointed. Miss old Lone Star with decent meals

Came here to dine on my birthday and boy, was I in for a treat! Lovely service overall, very friendly and was definitely spoilt. Ordered the ribs as per usual, cooked very well, had generous amount of sauce on top and was delicious! (Note that however I have found that when cooked in bulk (Lonestar was the venue for our end of year class dinner), I've experienced very dry ribs-inconsistency in-preparation?) great salad, not soggy at all, and average potato wedges, not super crisp. Also got offered salt and pepper seasoning in the fanciest way through a very long shaker by the flamboyant waiter and was definitely pleased! For dessert, creme brûlée and longhorn cheesecake were picked. Creme brûlée was delicious, the topping excellently crisp and sweet with a loose silky pudding base underneath. The cheesecake was well balanced with the whipped cream and it was very creamy and decadent. Not too sweet but chocolately enough for that sweet tooth fix! On the house items were the kiwi pavola with a cute candle on top, and the waiter also offered us tea! Super fancy set up, and we had little cups of milk on the side too! Was such a lovely surprise. Definitely recommend going on your birthday for a special meal, had a lovely time! This ended up becoming my yearly birthday routine-ribs at lone star!

Came here for my son’s birthday and honestly overall it was an amazing experience. First of all the starters were super yummy, could not recommend the mussel mania enough - our table licked the bowl clean, it was that good. Hot tip! Add cheese to your garlic loaf, it makes SUCH a huge difference. Next were the mains - the portions were HUGE. The BB King Ribs were amazing, fall off the bone material. Could not find any fault with the other meals. There was so much food, we had a couple takeaway containers even with 4 brown boys on the table. The service was over the top too. Aahads service was top tier, we were upstairs and he came up multiple times to check in on us - he was very accomodating to any of the changes we wanted and very welcoming to any feedback we had. Luka and Liam were our bar men, they were constantly running up the stairs with amazing service. To top off the night ALL of the staff sung my son happy birthday. Could not recommend lone star enough, will definitely be back for my next kids birthday.

I dined here on Monday night, October 28th, with a reservation at 7:30 pm. The ambiance was warm and cozy, with friendly staff who made us feel welcome right from the start. Unfortunately, the experience took a turn when it came to the food. I ordered the Rockin’ Ribeye with mushroom sauce, and my friend ordered the same. It looked promising when it arrived, but when I cut into my steak, I was immediately disappointed. I’d asked for medium rare, yet the steak was incredibly dry—worse than a well-done steak. It had no sear, and the texture made it look like it had been microwaved from frozen. My friend’s steak looked exactly the same, suggesting it wasn’t just a one-off error. I would have made a complaint, but with my family already hungry, waiting for a replacement didn’t seem practical. For a $50 dish from a well-known restaurant, I expected much better. This was, unfortunately, the worst steak I’ve ever had, and it was a real letdown for my first time dining here.
