I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with my recent experience at this Wendy’s location. I ordered a no sugar Coke specifically for a Type 1 diabetic, only to discover that they were given a full sugar Coke instead. This is not just an inconvenience it’s a serious, potentially life threatening mistake. Type 1 diabetics cannot safely consume large amounts of sugar without risking dangerous spikes in blood sugar levels which can lead to severe health complications or even hospitalization.
Mistakes happen, but when it comes to food and beverage service, accuracy is critical especially for people with medical conditions. This kind of negligence could have led to a medical emergency, and it makes me seriously question the level of care and attention to detail from the staff. If they can’t get something as simple as a no sugar vs. regular correct, what other mistakes are happening in the kitchen?
I strongly urge management to train their employees properly on the importance of order accuracy, especially when it comes to dietary restrictions and medical needs like diabetes. This isn’t just about good service it’s about basic responsibility and public safety. I hope Wendy’s takes this issue seriously before someone else gets hurt.
I probably wouldn’t have needed to write this if they answered their phone.
Attached is a photo on how fast regular coke can spike a type...
Read moreSo I don't expect that much when I go to a fast food restaurant...but this Wendy's has failed to meet even our low expectations each time we've gone (a few times in the past couple months). Usually it's something small, like not giving us straws or napkins, a coke turned out to be soda water (the syrup in the mixing machine had run out) (easily remedied by replacing it in the store - which they did). Once a burger tasted like it had been sitting out for the whole day, another time they gave us chicken instead of beef (order mixup). This latest time, my wife and I ordered two shakes. Neither were mixed very well at all...so you take a sip and get all the nasty syrup at the bottom. One had way too much syrup and tasted like poo... I've never eaten poo before (fortunately!), but I imagine that is what it would taste like. I should have returned it but decided to see if mixing it up and adding some more milk would help...it didn't - still tasted like poo. How hard is it to make a freakin shake correctly? I've worked in fast food and it's not rocket science. Take some pride in your service and serve a good product everytime. I'm done with you...
Read moreFood was alright, but the service was shocking. Asian bloke with blonde hair was behind the counter, they were quiet as and the staff were all congregated having a chat, he took about a minute from us walking in to even acknowledge the bloke in front of me, and then once he served him went back to chatting for a minute or two to then finally get to serving me. After this he turns to his coworkers and says "who wants to make this order because I dont" He didn't even get the order the first time either. I get that you're not busy but that doesn't mean you just sit their slacking off. Or if you are going to slack off and waste time then dont waste my time or any other customers, you can always go back to chatting afterwards. Probably why burger King next door was actually busy and you're quiet because people aren't going to come back for that...
