Leap Dunedin — Attraction in South Island

I went here with my son an nephew here last night.

During our session they were conducting a photo shoot of the employees in the main trampoline area. The area they were shooting in addition to all the employees standing around on the trampolines watching the photoshoot resulted in us only being able to use one corner of the main area.

We came to the trampoline park to jump around on all the trampolines. Especially the big long ones. So we strayed into the photoshoot from time to time. As a result the employees and photographer yelled at us from the other side of the hall.

The smart thing to do in this situation would be similar if not identicle to the following.

Close at published closing time. Conduct photo shoot after hours with employees, without public interference (This results in happy phtographers, happy employees and happy customers). Pay your employees for the additional time required to be at work.

Additional information: No we were not told there would be a photoshoot on during our session. Yes we...

Paid for an hour and half an hour later they blew a whistle and said our time was up. They could have easily told us the sessions were on the hour and charged us accordingly and when we asked if we could stay on for the half hour we had PAID for they said no. Very disappointed kids and grandparents and BAD BAD BAD customer relations. Will NOT be returning, an embarrassment for the city.

Furthermore in response to Leaps response - they're being completely disingenuous about their pricing, time allotments and customer info. No staff members mentioned anything about turning up time frames, charge variations or sessions running out. If 3 adults who didn't even know each other were surprised by the above - that says something about either signage (or lack of) or staff training and to cause this much ill will over a few dollars...

This is hands down the best LEAP in the country! It’s not just because the facilities are spotless, well maintained, and packed with fun activities like rock climbing it’s the people that make it special.

The manager on site was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to make our experience amazing. He was so accommodating, especially with our small children who wanted to try the Clip ’n Climb. He showed real kindness and patience, even letting our three-year-old daughter have a go free of charge.

Our family was also waiting on our car to be fixed, and he kindly allowed us to stay longer without charging us extra. That level of generosity and genuine care is rare these days.
