Lovely bright and clean looking shop. Friendly, professional and efficient staff. Swift service. Placed a phone order and was told it would be ready in 10mins and it was! Walked straight into shop, used the covid19 app. to check in joined a que behind 2 others and didn’t have to wait long. Food was hot, delicious and cooked beautifully! And generous size pieces of fish and portions of chips as well! Chips a little soggy but reminded me of classic kiwi fish n’ chips as a child, so definitely not a deal breaker! Noticed they also do a smorgasbord✅ and chinese as well! Reasonably priced. Highly recommend Annie’s Takeaways and can’t wait to try some chinese takeaway...

Don't buy chicken wings which weren't cheap. I chose these this time instead of the fish which has lately been overcooked and tough. I bought the chicken wings to have something different which is offered on their menu and also some wontons. When I got it it seemed that someone had opened the bag and poured salt in to the bag and everything was salty and all well overcooked being very dry. It was absolutely disgusting.Time for you Annie's to look at how you cook things as customers will leave you. We visit regularly and seen that your food offering is...

Utter rubbish. Combo fried rice ($15.00) and crumbed fish ($4.50) Rice came in small tray and was burnt throughout, over soy sauced (very salty) and very little meat that tasted like whatever the rice was flavoured with. Also very oily. Fish, although tasting ok, was small, dry and crumb batter was practically normal batter with bread crumbs thrown at it. Overview: felt ripped by these new owners. I do not recommend.
