Subway — Restaurant in Palmerston North

Went to this Subway two Saturdays in a row. The same staff were on. The first visit had to wait for service while a delivery order was being made. Other staff didn’t appear to be doing much. Second visit no other customers. Again one staff member making an order, the other staff member sweeping the floor. Waited and waited. No service, girl kept sweeping the floor. Decided to leave. These guys don't know how to toast a sandwich.

I asked for it to be tosted, it came back to the salad selection with black on the cheese. I'm pretty sure I could have snapped the bread in half! Even when done a second time, they still over toasted it. If I made a toasted sandwich this bad myself, I would have thrown it away.

It's Subway, so at one level you know what to expect because they are similar the world-over. But the seared lamb sandwich I had was very tasty and I wanted to especially highlight the friendliness and politeness of both the guy and the woman behind the counter.
