Entering Punjab Palace the service was amazing friendly & welcoming, our meal was so yummy from the poppadoms with mango chutney 😋 to the mains & spicy naan 😋 but OMG you have to try the plunger tea, I’m not saying anything more other than it’s the best tea Iv ever drunk. I had no idea I was being watched by the owner when I was opening the plunger trying to figure out what the aroma was, I had asked the waitress what it was and she said only the owner knows, even she didn’t know, so I asked please for a little container to take away. The owner came to me and said he could see how much I loved the tea and gave me a small container. How honoured was I to be gifted with such delights to the senses! My husband and I were celebrating and chose Punjab Palace to dine last night. Upon our arrival, there was a wonderful aroma from the entrance door, we were pleasantly greeted and offered a table for two. We ordered for starters, the spring rolls on a bed of finely sliced cabbage and home made sweet chilli sauce, these were freshly made, light and tasty and very nice. For the mains we had ordered the famous Butter Chicken we had heard so much about and the Lamb Roganjosh. The butter chicken was absolutely delicious, so tender and succulent that when we cut the chicken it was like a knife to butter. The chicken was so fresh and tenderly cooked in the delicious sauce. If you’re like me and you’ll only ever order the classic white girl curry (mild butter chicken) then you will be very satisfied with PP’s version. Heaps of chicken pieces, delicious sauce, good serving of rice. Also got a plain and a cheese/garlic naan which were cooked perfectly. Hubby got the entree of four chicken tikka pieces...so naturally I ate two of them (of course I promised I wasn’t that hungry when he ordered) and they were delicious BBQ’d boneless chicken pieces from heaven. Highly recommended. Hubby is now lying down attempting to put all his energy into digesting as he ate waaay too much.
