Wok a Feed & BBQ 港利燒腊店 — Restaurant in Papakura

The place sure "Wok" me up to the flavours of authentic Chinese BBQ. I tasted their roast duck, BBQ pork, and roast pork belly, and I recommend trying them all.

I had their roast duck, which I ate with their in-house-made hot chilli oil. I liked eating the duck flesh to the bone; the fat was perfectly cooked, meat was tender, and parts of the skin were crispy. When it comes to crispy; however, their crispy pork belly is a must-try! The pork belly was fresh from the oven, and you could hear the crunch in every bite. I enjoyed every bite, paired with a spoonful of egg-fried rice.

The food was ok if thats what you like.. we went here because a curtain smorgasbord Chinese place was closed. Me and my nephew went and they served us our food.. but then they asked us if we wanted rice.. so yeah we said yes.. then the lady took our meals.. took out the a quarter of the meat and replaced a quarter of our meal with rice! Bro I thought it was added to the meal as stated on the menu. The menu also stated we get veggies and no we did not get veggies. Bro I’d rather go to that Chinese place Guy Williams goes on about in Mt Albert!

So yeah I’ll give a heart felt review with no bias now and say yeah probs 4 of 10 and I’d recommend the Chinese smorgasbord across from papakura kfc

Came here as a recommendation from a friend and admittedly I nearly decided not to go as it was a bit out of the way from where I was but once I saw some photos of the food I figured it could be worth the drive and all I can say is wow!!

I first got 2 meat choices on chips which isn't something I was used to but it was perfect. The sauces from the meat acted as an awesome sauce for the chips making them taste like awesomeness in its purest form.

I even came back a second time to try the meat choices on rice and that was equally as awesome!

The roast duck is up there as some of the best most tender duck I've tasted and the BBQ Pork chunks were massive and tasty.
