Just Like Martha is an absolute treasure trove for coffee enthusiasts and foodies alike. As soon as you step into this charming coffee shop, you're greeted with an ambiance that oozes warmth and coziness, making you feel right at home. Inspired by the legendary Martha Stewart's kitchen, this place takes its culinary inspiration to a whole new level, and the result is an extraordinary dining experience that is second to none. The star of the show is undoubtedly their exceptional coffee. From the first sip to the last, you can taste the care and passion that goes into every cup. The baristas here are true artisans, skillfully crafting each coffee to perfection, whether it's a rich, velvety latte, a smooth and balanced cappuccino, or a robust and aromatic espresso. It's evident that they take immense pride in their coffee, and it shines through in every delightful sip. Now, let's talk about the food – a true gastronomic delight. The menu, inspired by the culinary genius of Martha Stewart, features an array of delectable dishes that will leave you utterly satisfied. One standout dish that stole my heart was their mouthwatering lamb shoulder. The flavors were a symphony of taste, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to tender perfection. Each bite was an explosion of delightful sensations, leaving me craving for more. Beyond the culinary delights, the attention to detail in both the decor and the food presentation is praiseworthy. The interior is thoughtfully designed with rustic accents, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere that beckons you to stay a while longer. Whether you're looking for a quiet corner to work, a spot to catch up with friends, or a moment of tranquility to savor your coffee, Just Like Martha has it all!

A great place to visit for breakfast and lunch. They have recently started opening for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights. Thought we'd give dinner a try as there is not much in the area open for dinner within walking distance. We ordered the chicken burger with chips, sirloin steak meal with hassleback potatoes and mushrooms, with an entre of sourdough bread. My review isn't great. You should maybe stick to making burgers and fries and maybe add a pizza to your menu. The steak was a very unusual pairing. It came with a salsa Verde that wasn't prepared correctly and over powered the sirloin steak. While the mushrooms were tasty, there were only 4 of them. To make things worse, the menu states hassleback potatoes. Plural. That means more than one. I was presented with half a small potato. It was tasty, just not enough quantity, especially for that price. The Pina Colada was very average, I'm not sure they followed an actual recipe. Another criticism I have is that usually this is a nice place to grab a dessert slice of something from their cabinet, of which was empty for the dinner service. Last few words of advice for the new owners would be: don't try to be something you're not. Stop with the pretentious steak and focus more on pub style food that people want on a weekend and we'll be back.

Went to this local Cafe this week to see if the food was as good as it looked. There is usually a large selection of delicious food on display but as it was half an hour before closing time the range was more limited. The coffee was great! Strong and creamy just the way I love my cappuccino to be. The ginger crunch slice was extra gingery without being too sweet. The base was full of nuts and was more like an Anzac biscuit texture. Very pleased with this and would love to return to sample other tasty treats. I was surprised that the cafe closed at 3pm. It would benefit from closing later to allow for trade from the local primary school. The staff mopping the floor could easily be done once the customers have left. This aspect created a negative effect that could be managed better. On the whole this local Cafe is well positioned on Mt Eden Rd close to the Three Kings shopping centre and on the bus route. The decor is pleasant and I would happily recommend based on my two visits.

Nice atmosphere..lively..sunday brunch...yummy looking cabinet food. Started off well. The staff/waitress was lovely. I ordered green chilli eggs. I asked about sides. I was told....yes we have sides but we don't have them listed. So the waitress verbally listed me the sides which included smoked bacon. I ordered a side dish of smoked bacon with my meal of green chilli eggs. The meal arrived. There was "one" slice of bacon! Just "one"!? I questioned this, as I wouldn't be happy to pay for a side dish which consisted of "one" slice of bacon. The manager said that the sides are not listed and this is free range bacon. That's all good and well, however your staff advised you have sides which included smoked bacon which I ordered so I expected a "side " to consist of more than "one" slice. I said I was not happy with this and will not be eating this "one" slice nor paying for this "one" slice. The manager or whoever it was that was standing over me..insisted that I would be paying for it as they could not re-use it (not my problem)! By now, this was not about cost to me but about principal now. I responded "I will not be paying for this side dish of "one" piece of bacon" but happy to pay for the main meal. In the end I actually was so put off I didn't finish the rest of my meal either. (I wasn't charged for the bacon at the till in the end).. It was an upsetting and dissapointing experience with this person who could have handled it better and considering they have only recently just opened....
