THE MEUS CAFE — Restaurant in Rodney

Incredible, Outstanding and Friendly. My main purpose for was visit was initially Subway however my wife convinced me to try an eggs bene and she ordered a slice of which I am glad we did.

The slice arrived, it was incredibly yummy, fresh, perfect weight and coupled with my Moka and the cream Astronomical 😌.

Then not 4 mins after so did my eggs bene which looked as you can see from the photos absolutely superb 👌. I got some quick piks then jumped right in and all I can say is !!Wow!!.

The eggs were perfectly cooked with that shiny glazed to perfection look, bouncy and covered from tip to tip in tasty mouth watering home made holindase sauce and the egg was perfectly cooked and runny. At the point after I had taken my mouth watering bite I realized. HAY! thats mushrooms and not bacon.

Mushrooms and DO NOT EAT well that is until now =).

Although the order got mixed up I believe the outcome was the same and that is Outstanding, I can only imagine the taste bud explosion if I got the bacon, however I did not have a complaint at all as the mushrooms were so well cooked and flavoured.

On a last note if I could add, The communication with the staff was a bit one sided as I don't think they understood us well and mainly avoided unnecessary conversation which is totally fine, I still shook the Chefs hand and thanked him regardless and he was happy and friendly.

5 out of 5 for me, Hands down to that eggs bene you now lead with your Eggs bene on my leader...

The Meus Cafe is such a gem! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with cozy decor and adorable decorations that make the space feel welcoming and unique. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxing meal or catching up with friends.

We ordered the pasta and eggs benedict, and both were absolutely delicious. The pasta was packed with fresh vegetables and cooked to perfection, while the eggs benedict had crispy hash cakes, perfectly poached eggs, and a flavorful hollandaise sauce.

For drinks, we had the iced chocolate and iced matcha latte – both were refreshing and delightful. The iced chocolate was rich and creamy with a generous topping of whipped cream, and the iced matcha latte had a smooth, balanced flavor that wasn’t overly sweet.

The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a great dining experience. Parking was also convenient, which is a big plus. On top of everything, the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and service provided.

Overall, this was such a fantastic experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back....

If I could give this Cafe a 0 stars I would. Other than the amazing waitresses for being so compassionate, the service and food was not okay. As someone who has an allergy to nuts and pesto was placed on the plate with food next to it. I had asked to please rectify this. This was done with no hesitation from the waitresses only to have the same food served on a new plate moments later with a poor attempt to remove the pesto which was still on some of the food. When discussed again the chef came out blazing to his defence that the plate had been changed but did not want to listen to why it cannot have the pesto on the food which could have caused an anaphylaxis. Apologies were made by the waitress and alternative food was offered but after this poor experience from the chef and the mild allergic reaction experienced on my way home from one mouthful of the food which was spat out, I do not reccommend this cafe, especially if you have food tolerances or allergies.
