Baker Brothers — Restaurant in South Island

Have heard good things about these guys so wanted to give them a shot. Purchased a pie, a scroll and a cookie for myself and the partner. The steak & cheese pie was nice however the let down was the fact the meat was luke warm. This was a common trend as the partners mince and cheese was also just warm through the middle so unsure of the pie warmers settings. The pesto scroll ended up going into the bin, it was extremely hard and almost tasted stale. So I dont know if this was yesterday's or what? But considering we came early I'd hope not.
