Combined Services Club Twizel — Restaurant in South Island

Went for the much talked about Sunday roast for $15. They ran out of potatoes, parsnip and pumpkin, ie, 70% of the roast vegetables and as I approached the counter to pay, I overheard one cashier say to the other that they are about to run out of roast lamb - yet they continued to sell many more tickets. Additionally, when I asked if they were going to replenish the roast veggies I was given a flat "No." Not good enough. Don't keep selling roast dinners if you can't...

The chap behind the bar is nice and friendly and we felt very welcome parking our Motorhomes behind the back - thanks to him. The meals we had were excellent. Thankyou for a memorable stay and for the great meals at excellent prices.
