Tucked away in the quaint town of Twizel, this place is an absolute gem. It has such a charming, old-school vibe that instantly draws you in. We visited in the afternoon and had a great time soaking up the atmosphere. We started with a fun game of pool—just $1 per game! The food completely exceeded our expectations. We ordered the salmon fried rice, chicken fried rice, fries, chicken Pad Thai, and a chicken & apricot pizza—every single dish was delicious. Razza Bar also has a gaming lounge and two claw machines—and yes, we actually won two prizes! Such a cute little diner! It’s really giving country vibes. Which is fitting for its location nestled under the beautiful mountains. The staff are lovely. I’m assuming it was the owner and the cashier. Service was super fast and the burger and chips were delicious. I had the Hawaiian burger (cause I’m visiting from Hawaii) and it was excellent. Haha. Wasn’t really a fan of the slaw but that’s just cause I’m not a big cabbage guy but the burger was great and flavorful. Just what I needed after exploring all morning. The bar and staff great!! Bistro front staff are lovely, meals great, however I ordered a chicken fried rice dish which was great, But the 5 guests at my table received their meals, ate their meals and mine was still being cooked!! Went up twice to find out where it was to be told they only have one Wok and trying to make lots of servings!! Really disappointed!! When I go out with friends for a meal I like to also be able to eat with them not half an hour plus later!! However I was given my money back with an apology!!
