We ordered fullbreakfast, bombay burger, the beef burger and the lasagna. And. We have been waiting for 20minutes? Well it is busy time and we could handle it. But the thing is. Lasagna's are totally cold with fries too. So we asked about a new dish. And it came up after 5minutes. With new fresh hot fries and just reheated lasagna. And it just burnt on the side. Seems like just put in microwave. So We just waited 30minutes for burnt old lasagna. Have no idea how they do their services. Well waiters are nice n friendly. But one more, the table behind us got trouble too. They ordered meals without meat. I saw they are asking to take it off and asked again when it served. And it was meat in the dish anyway.
I think it is better to get trained again for your services.
Bombay burger was good. Also full breakfast too. The beef burger got quite strong smell of the beef. So you better check it before serve or it originally tastes like it. Just put more peppers.
And Lasagna was..nothing to comment. Literally terrible it was. So even we paid without lasagna eventually tho.
And surprisingly we could hear they are under the same Owner. When we talked to staff about the another uncooked steak story from 'the Landing' at the corner on road.the day...
Read moreDucked in during a downpour for a coffee and were surprised by the reasonably priced burgers enough to order two. The place was packed but we were lucky to find a table for two. Surprised that the front door was left open on a 15 degree Celsius day. No one was taking off their outer ware and neither did we as it was just too cold. Not the cozy vibe we wanted at all on a cold, rainy day. At some point during the meal the back door was opened and we had to ask the staff to close the door (which we were sitting right around the corner from by the toilets) as the cross breeze was too much. Thankfully they did at my first request. The burgers were decent and the coffee was good. What we were most shocked by was that we could overhear the staff talking smack about customers behind the bar. By all means, complain about the "unreasonable" requests from guests such as adding a sugar to a coffee, but do it out of their earshot. If you work in the service industry as I do, you are costumer centered and your daily goal is to make the client feel comfortable and welcome, not as if they are inconveniencing you. This is your job. Because of the poor service, we decided not to return...
Read moreThe café was very busy on a Friday lunchtime during peak season. The cabinets were well stocked and there was a separate one full of cakes and sweets, plus a menu that I didn't look at. I ordered food from the cabinet - Eggs Benedict with Parma Ham. The server tried to tell me it was something else, then couldn't find it on the till, then they brought the wrong meal to the table. The egg was well cooked which was unexpected, so a bit disappointing, and there was too much chilli in the dish for me. I am so tired of cafés and restaurants assuming that everyone likes a bit of chilli so they don't bother declaring it as an ingredient. The biggest issue at this café though is the pricing - $7.50 for a regular coffee! It was very good coffee - quite strong - but still overpriced. Secondly, they tried to charge me $8.50 for a standard apple & guava drink from the cabinet (I think 330ml). You have got...
