Searchlight Brewery — Restaurant in South Island

I'm here for a week on a trip to Queenstown, and I leave a review about this place only among all restaurants that I visited. This place has fantastic beers. I ordered only 4 paddles first and they were so great so I was curious about other things as well. I ended up ordering 4 more. But they were all really awesome. Great little brewery in Queenstown! Parking was a little tough since the location seems to be in an automotive industrial park but once we got in we were warmly greeted by Zoe. She was extremely knowledgeable on all of Searchlight's beers on tap, heavy on the hazys! Being from San Diego, California our beer standards are high to say the least. Searchlight offered a solid selection but I decided to try their Red Admiral on nitro, a rare treat to find a red on nitro. It was smooth, malty, and balanced. Search light was a fantastic experience, lovely atmosphere where the staff made us feel so welcome on a cold wintery night. Obviously the beers are an absolute treat! Hospitality to match the brews!! We came back for a second night after a taster the first day we arrived on a short long weekend stay in Qtown.
