Queenstown Rockshop — Local services in South Island

Do not buy a guitar from this company! They sold me a faulty guitar with plenty of Frett Buzz which was confirmed by their staff when I bought the item back. I requested to swap it for another guitar & wasted hours in the shop only to find many of the guitars had the same issue. Was told by the staff to leave the guitar with them so that they can return it to the manufacturer. They then said they will give a refund as the item is faulty only to then have the Manager call the next day and try to tell me there is no issue with the guitar and the original staff member who played the guitar has also said there was no issue.

$500 down and no guitar, absolutely useless customer service and extremely unhelpful. This all could have been resolved amicably but the Manager made the whole experience very unpleasant. Also to note, I did not get a full refund, another fabrication by this business. They kept $60 as a ‘Restocking Fee’ which I couldn’t be bothered arguing about. Also no refund on the picks and tuner I bought from this shop. So I have the accessories & no guitar to play. Thanks...

Had the BEST experience recently served by Michael when my guitar needed to be fixed. Super friendly over the phone, offered to fix it right away and super knowledgeable. I went in on Thursday just for a browse. Surprised to see so many amazing guitars and gear. Michael gave me the best customer service was so friendly, helpful and knows his stuff.
