The Swiss Bakery & Cafe — Restaurant in South Island

This bakery/cafe may not have everything you want but what they have is super tasty!

Their sweets are nice but their pies are their major selling point (at least to me), best pies in my life! You would not believe how good the pies are until you try them yourself!

It has some chairs outside, it has some space inside to eat (though not a lot) but it's easily within walking distance to heaps of other places where you can sit down and eat.

All in all this place slaps, the pies are the best! the sweets are nice to as well, the workers here are always nice.

This place is amazing! I see myself as quite the pie connoisseur and their do not disappoint! I could go on about the pies for days, light fluffy pastry, quality and stuffed full of ingredients and a very fair price. But everything at the Swiss Bakery is great. Beautiful, delicious baked goods, very fair prices and amazing customer service. Would give them 6 stars if I could. Sorry no photos as the food was eaten...

We came here early for breakfast, as they open really early. They have a pretty good range of sweet and savoury pastry, and the coffee is good. Prices have definitely increasing in the last few months, but the food is tasty. While you can eat inside, there's not much room. There are more metal tables outside.
