Dined her for the first time with 3 friends on Sat night. Whilst the quality of the seafood & the beef for the Teppanyaki menu was top notch, and, the chef was friendly & talented, this is where the compliments stop. The service was 'extremely' slow for both taking the orders and for us receiving our food. There is no great atmosphere here compared to my previous Teppanyaki experiences and no fun or antics with the chef. One of us didn't want Teppanyaki so he only ordered an a-la-carte steak which was $28.00 and very small. Tasty tender steak but so small with no sides included. The steak was not presented to our friend for over an hour after our arrival which is way too long. The Teppanyaki menu includes a bowl of Miso soup which was not very nice & also includes ice cream for dessert which was super rock hard & tasted stale from the freezer. Even our water in the glasses provided tasted a bit like dish soap or a dish rag. Not sure why but it was not drinkable. 13.3.25 Just ordered the bento box and apart from being dried up there was no wasabi and no black sauce. Definitely wont bother again .Ordered through ubereats on the 26.11.2022. The image I ordered from was nothing compared to the dried up mess that arrived cold. It wasn't even the correct meal as only had 3 pieces of bean and one circle of carrot alongside dried up chicken and rice. There was also 2x cold misco soupls and 5x limp and soggy crumber seafood sticks. I rang to complain and sort something out and the man hung up on me. I have eaten at his restaurants for many years now and always loved their food. This is terribly disappointing behavior for a regular customer.
