Motueka Bakery & Cafe — Restaurant in Tasman

Not overly keen on the general cafe scene, usually overpriced, overstated and well underwhelming. Best choice than is this place, great variety of food, hot n cold and amazing sweet tooth stuff too, they do great pies and the pork or lamb hot meat buns are to die for. Service is nice and practical without being cheesy and the only small criticism would be the decor but hey, takeaway!. Forget the trendy and pretentious, eat here, always a steady stream of customers...for good reason. And no I'm not getting payed for this, just wanting to get people their moneys worth, God knows there's enough cafes, we need to know...

The popular pie shop in Motueka! Many people recommend me go there, so finally I tried! I ordered Steak&Cheese Pie, Mince &Cheese Pie, Bacon&Egg Pie, Chicken& Bacon & Camembert Pie and Pork dumplings.

Pies are so delicious! So crispy and flaky outside and lots of ingredients inside. My favorite one is Chicken& Bacon & Camembert Pie!! So recommended!

The dumplings are fine. But it takes 10-15minutes and also there is coriander inside pork dumplings, so it is not my thing after all.

Great little bakery with fantastic pies, great pastry, awesome tasty fillings. Also went back for a meal, had bacon, eggs, chips and salad, for $15 it was worth every cent and would recommend it. Haven't tried anything else but I keep going back, would recommend this place. Lovely service too, oh and the roast Sammie's look yummy, always someone ordering them when I visit so...
