Noodle Canteen Richmond — Restaurant in Tasman

Extremely disappointing experience. I feel bad posting this review, but I’m honestly sick of paying for things that are not okay. I just want others to know what to expect.

The staff were unapproachable and quite rude, which set a bad tone from the start. The place looked filthy—there were large amounts of chicken just sitting out on the bench, not in the fridge, which is a serious food safety concern.

The food was average. It was mostly plain noodles with hardly any vegetables or meat. In hindsight, I wish there had been no meat at all, because shortly after eating, I got sick and spent far too long in the bathroom.

I’m genuinely concerned about the hygiene standards here and honestly surprised this place...

Disgusting food. We ordered the honey chicken and it was massive pieces of 99% batter and a tiny piece of chicken inside. The chicken tasted like fish and if was chicken it was probably off. If I wanted greasy overpriced fish and chips type food I would have gone to a fish and chip shop. Absolutely foul. I threw all my chicken away and just ate the noodles. Thanks for charging me $55 for utter trash food. To make it worse I called the owner she told me to go down for a refund and then proceeded to argue the entire time and offer me nothing. Not happy with the service today. The lady serving there was yelling at the workers in an unfashionable manner, Making a scene in front of all customers in the store at the time! Obviously making everyone uncomfortable. She was also very rude to my partner on the phone when she called to order, Also kept getting cut off by the lady on the phone saying "That's your order" and wouldn't let my partner finish.
