Tao Sushi — Restaurant in Upper Harbour

Probably the best Japanese cuisine I've had in a long time! Made fresh to order, genuine Japanese chef. He was lovely but would have to get the waiter to come translate for us. Wh9ch the waiter did with a bubbly attitude and wide, welcoming smile. The service was impeccable! We felt very welcome and very special. They even gave us a complimentary entree ontop of all the delicious things we ordered (edamame, katsu chicken donburi, salmon and avocado sushi roll, with Asahi and a super yummy Choya wine!) I'm gonna have to get my Auntys and cousins who live in Auckland to make this their sushi place from now on! Highly recommend! Arigatō Tao Sushi for a lovely lunch...

A great restaurant coming straight from the five stars restaurants. When you it you feel how great and fresh the foos is. If it's not raining, then the sun will lighten your mood and make the atmosphere feel great, but what if it's raining? Your food and you will get wet.

Quite hard to find but well worth the effort! They are located in a small stall behind the Fruit World and Sunshine Mart on Albany Highway. Very friendly service and tried three different types of their Warship Rolls – all were very well prepared and presented and tasty too. Definitely will return and try more...
