Shaolin Noodles on Albany Highway is an absolute gem! I placed a pickup order here and was blown away by the warm, welcoming vibe from the moment I walked in. The chef lady behind the counter radiates joy—she greets every customer with a bright smile, chats warmly like an old friend, and ensures everyone feels right at home. Her customer service is top-notch; she’s attentive, patient, and genuinely cares about delivering a great experience.

The food? Incredible. The aroma of freshly cooked noodles and spices hits you as soon as you step inside, and my order was handed over piping hot, clearly prepared with care. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and you can taste the authenticity in each dish.

What truly sets this place apart is the chef’s infectious positivity and the way she balances speed with personal touch—even during busy times, she manages to make every interaction feel special. If you’re craving delicious, soul-warming noodles served with a side of stellar hospitality, Shaolin Noodles is a must-visit! 🍜🔥 Highly...

$16 for egg fried rice....which is 75% full in the container. Took photos. Remember how when you get your takeaway fried rice/noodles etc, it is normally packed full in the container? This is not one of those places. When we rang up to enquire and hopefully sort out before leaving this review - they said that they carefully measured each fried rice using "two bowls", but to compensate, next time they will give us a free drink (we don't want a free fizzy drink thanks...we want fried rice filled to the top of the container it comes in as done in almost every other place). The explanation of a careful two bowl serving, means nothing when the container it comes in is a normal plastic rectangle container that most Chinese Food joints fill to the brim with their takeaway fried rice - and at a far more reasonable price than $16 for egg fried rice. So yeah, servings are abismal for the price. Sort it out Shaolin or you'll get...

1st and last time to have dinner there last week with the family. Food was average and some we're swimming in oil.

Main concern that I have though was that customer service from the muscular man behind the till who were wearing specs and black shirt was appalling. When he dished out the plate next to our table and it fell towards us, he just carried through without saying anything.

We've asked for steam rice as my 7 yr old daughter finds the fried rice too spicy, it was served cold. When it was time to pay, he just punched in the amount, left my wife at the till then continued eating his barbecue standing while looking at the window. I don't if he knows how to talk to people but this kind of customer service does put off anyone.

You couldn't eat and enjoy your food while having a nasty person serving you not unless it...

Very good. Love the shaved noodles with beef. Skewers are good as well. [Update] Not good anymore. Used to be one of my favorite joints. Now no more. Down from 4 stars. Very disappointing last 3 visits. 3 strike out for me. I'm never coming back here again. Shrinkflation - switched to using lower-grade meat and shrunk the portion. The bowl of cleaver beef noodle soup only had 6 small pieces, 2 of which were just fat. This coupled with intimidating staff/ owner who pounds on his cashier while taking your order as if he's having a bad day makes you want to turn around and walk out the door.

I recently tried the noodles at this place, and overall, it was a fine experience. The noodles themselves were cooked well, and the service was adequate. However, I have to admit that there was nothing particularly surprising or exceptional about the meal. It met my expectations, but I was hoping for something that would truly stand out. While the food and service were satisfactory, I believe it's always exciting to discover unique flavors or unexpected elements in a dining experience. Nonetheless, if you're looking for a decent meal without any surprises, this place might fit the bill.
