Recently moved to Waiheke, and fell in love with Island coffee! For sure the tastiest coffee on the island. Though, my experiences going into the small cafe have been hit and miss. I recently went in to buy a coffee and a bag of beans, I walked in and waited to order. Zero acknowledgement from the staff behind the counter. An obvious local and friend literally stepped in front of me to have some kind of catch up. I stepped back and was about to leave before they asked what I would like.... Stopped by here for a coffee yesterday during our one day visit to Waiheke. Unfortunately we arrived shortly after noon and they had already closed up. After explaining to the gentleman at the door that we had been excited to try their coffee he very generously offered us a small bag to take home to try. On our last day on Waiheke Island, we stopped by this amazing local coffee spot and were so glad we did. They roast their beans in-house, and the aroma alone draws you in.
