The good: delicious food, we had butter chicken, mango chicken and lamb Rogan Josh and it was great, just have to remember that medium spice level here means mild or no spice compared to Jaipur in Hamilton which is our family’s favourite. I called up and asked for the chefs favourite curry with a garlic/cheese naan.
The curry, tasted amazing. But the portion size was small. Any Auckland Indian takeaway would have provided 20% more. I was dissapointed to receive so little at that price.
My garlic cheese naan had all of the cheese on one side of the naan. Half the naan was the best I’ve ever had, the other half the worst I’ve ever had.
On curry flavour alone, this place is 5/5, but the serving size brings it to a 4.5, the naan ruined...
Read morePoor customer service. I put in an online order to be picked up at 5:25pm, arrived at 5:22pm and was told it would be 'a few more minutes'. At 5:52pm I gave up and asked for my money back.
It's ok to be busy, just let customers know that there is a longer wait than expected, don't make out that their meals are almost ready when you haven't even started cooking them.
I'm sure the food is good here based on other reviews and how popular they were, but their customer service means I won't be back to see how good it is.
