I have never been more disappointed with a meal than I was with this tonight. We used to order from here when we lived closer, and finally got to go back tonight. The prices are now quite steep compared to other Thai restaurants, but I remembered the Lamb Massamun being fantastic so ordered that (with medium-hot spice level) and was really looking forward to it, however when taking it out the bag I thought it looked unnaturally oily, rather than the previous brown curry I remembered. I then proceeded to sit through a bowl of extremely FATTY lamb, essentially oil rather than curry and NO SPICE whatsover while others who ordered only medium were panting from the spice of theirs! I felt like driving back and asking what the hell this was, it was an extremely underwhelming yet expensive meal, and has quite frankly ruined my night. Read moreI absolutely love chill out, have been eating here for many years. I just wish they would completely remove or revise their chilli/spice options. After making the mistake a few times I only order mild now. Made the mistake of asking my husband to order from here and he picked medium ( thinking it would be similar to Indian take out spice level). The food was literally laced with red chilli and we had to throw it out as it was completely inedible. I can’t imagine how how the others would be.

Food is good - one of the few places that actually does proper/Thai spicy. Portion was good for the money. Just one pad kee mao lasted me 3 meals.
