Mai Sushi — Restaurant in Whau

I have changed my 2 star review to 5 as I have gone back and received the best Tofu Don. They do these shrimp Sushi with a light mayo, with lettuce and avocado, the shrimp is so tender and juicy, and $1.70 per piece, the cheapest anywhere and good quality, I also tried the Teriyaki Tofu Don again , was delicious, smokey cabbage, perfect slightly sticky rice , perfectly cooked. And because my eyes aren't bigger than my belly... lol... I got the mini spring rolls, crunchy and flavour bombs.... I would post a picture of it all . but it would be of an empty bowl...keep it up Ma...

i wanted to get something but the vibe wasnt it…… i was all smiles and ended up leaving perplexed… first off i didn’t know you could just get/grab the sushi’s or snacks yourself but it didnt have to be told in a rude way 🥲 i originally wanted to order smth else but itll take 10 mins and i cant rlly wait that long since i was only on a lunch break

but i just ended up getting the teriyaki chicken snack thing. it was decent but there was little chicken amts. I like the rice though. idk if ill ever go again as it didnt feel welcoming to...
