Kiwi Roast — Restaurant in Whau

Disappointing visit tonight. I have been a loyal customer for many years and have referred family and friends, even out-of-towners here for roasts. First time I ordered the fish burger X2 order. I usually go to Green Jade for their delicious and cheaper fish burgers but I said to my family, let's go support Kiwi roast tonight as we hadn't been there for awhile so disappointing that the outcome was what it was. Instead of going back to the store because I didn't want to return food if there were other patrons there, I chose to call. My complaint was the fish pattie (didn't look like a fillet) was not fresh, it had a brownish tint and tasted awful, and the lettuce was brown and wilted, we live less than 5mins away so it can't have cooked the lettuce that badly. No apology so I said I wouldn't be going there again, and all I got was "oh well if that's how you feel". These guys are usually very lovely and roasts are great but I'll only be returning to that block for the other stores. Needless to say, dinner is now a cup of tea and...

So we needed to get a roast for my mums birthday dinner yesterday as we all work so we couldn’t cook it ourselves, so we went to inquirer at kiwi roast if we could get a x1 whole roast, x3 roast chickens, x48 potatoes, x24 kumara, x24 pumpkins and gravy this is to cater for 16 adults and x2 kids. They were so awesome kiwi roast they gave us a discount free gravy’s and they cut up our chicken took out all the bones, gave us the left over frames too which had stuffing in them and they also cut up the pork and put it all in foil trays for us. The food was so delicious everyone really enjoyed their meals, no complaints from anyone and we had plenty of left overs. So we would like to say a big big THANK YOU to kiwi roast and the staff that prepared our delicious roast yous are the best…….. sorry we didn’t get any photos but trust me I would definitely recommend kiwi roast food...

These people don't only serve Roast Meals. They do a wonderful Scotch Fillet with fries and Salad, different burgers, deep-fried Chicken, and delicious variations of dessert and non-alcoholic drinks. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. I think it is a good place to stop in for a nice meal or even a quick snack. The staff are very nice and friendly, and it is a very tidy, clean atmosphere. I would recommend this place because you do get your money's worth with not just a quality meal, but quality service as well. Stay safe out there Peeps!...
