The restaurant is quite narrow. From the outside, it doesn't look like a restaurant but more like a cold meat shop. To eat at the restaurant, you need to go inside and go upstairs, the space is quite small and narrow. The pictures in the restaurant show that it has been open for quite a while and is currently run by the second generation. We ordered a variety of dishes, including salads, steaks, pasta, and soups. The dishes did not suit my taste or my friends' taste. Although the amount of food was quite a lot, the taste was quite greasy. Maybe because the restaurant was not crowded, the staff often looked at their phones and did not pay attention to the customers. I'm not sure if the taste here is standard for Westerners or not, but for Vietnamese people, I will not recommend my friends to come here

The best bistro in town honestly. We came here on Sunday night by chance, my home is close here and i knew this shop from 15-20 years ago. They have a hidden private restaurant upstairs which is absolutely amazing. We order 4 dishes, the best is bánh mì bơ tỏi cá hồi, superb! You must try! Because the order is over 500k, they gave us a dish of Bánh mì chảo bò Hokubee (probably promotion), it’s also very delicious, not kind of free low-quality gift. And last, they gave us one more box of pate gà 100g when I liked their fanpage, not yet try but I think it’s be nice. The whole meal is 560k, very reasonable for the location, the food, the atmosphere and friendly staff. Absolutely share this to my friends and take them here!

Biết Nguyên Sinh Bistro 1942 đã rất lâu đời . Nhưng cái hấp dẫn đối với mình đến tận bây giờ là cách chế biến món ăn giữ nét truyền thống và văn hóa . Và cũng có những nguyên liệu kết hợp hài hòa mới mẻ hơn cũng khá phong phú ngày một có nhiều lựa chọn hơn . Cách thưởng thức bánh mì thịt ở tiệm Nguyên Sinh thật khác lạ, một dĩa thịt nguội được đưa ra gồm 7 loại khác nhau: paté gan, xúc xích, giò thủ, giò heo rút xương, thịt hun khói… ăn kèm đồ chua gồm củ cải, dưa leo và cà rốt ngâm chua. Số đông thì sẽ rất thích Pate & Thịt Nguội ở đây . Nhưng với mình vẫn Ấn tượng nhất đúng là pâté gan gà với một hương vị đặc trưng khác biệt , ăn kèm với bánh mì để lại một dư vị đặc trưng . Bồ Câu Quay đó cũng là món mình yêu thích nhất không thể bỏ qua khi đến đây . Mình vẫn thích Chả Lụa truyền thống ở đây thơm mùi lá chuối tự nhiên cảm nhận thịt chả lụa không phải công nghiệp . Và Xốt Trứng là sự cảm nhận mạnh mẽ đối với mình nó rất đặc sắc đậm vị trứng tươi , mình cũng bị cuốn với xốt bơ ở đây. Nó hoàn toàn không phải là những thực phẩm công nghiệp nên mình cảm thấy an tâm hơn khi sử dụng món ở đây . Một địa điểm rất xứng đáng để đề xuất và giới thiệu cho nhiều bạn bè Nước Ngoài của mình để biết đến . Vì phía sau món ăn ở Nguyên Sinh Bistro 1942 là những câu chuyện thú vị mà mình quan tâm nhất .

Western dishes ? They have it. Viet dishes ? They also have it. The important part is that the dishes are well made, and made with an in house twist, which is done exquisitely. The drink is also great. I had a Tra Dao Cam Xa (Orange and Lemongrass Peach Tea), it is an awesome drink, not too sweet, and every flavour blends in together superbly. The tea is perfect for refreshing as well as pairing with the dishes. A great place.

An excellent destination for those who love quality cuisine. We ordered two different steak dishes and couldn't have been more satisfied. The steaks were tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The prices were also very reasonable considering the quality of the food we received. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy, and the service is professional and friendly. We will definitely come back here many more times.
