WARNING: my review is very critical and biased as a Korean. If you are not Korean food or Japanese sushi expert or you aren't picky like me, you would love the restaurant as they provided decent quality of food and good experience of Korean/Japanese cuisine. I am very grateful that Korean cuisine is spreading more widely therefore I decided to try this Korean restaurant in Managua due to everyone's excellent reviews.
The place has a good ambience and friendly staff. The price of the food was very reasonable as well. We were very pleased that they had my fav Korean rice wine. However, as a advocate Korean food lover and as a Korean my kimchi stew was very mediocre. It said that it had pork but couldn't see any and when asked they told me they are very very tiny; Kimchi stew should have big pieces of pork meat. I couldn't even taste any meat broth in the stew. My boyfriend's Bibimbab was satisfying, according to him. Although we requested it to be w/o meat since he is a vegetarian, it came with meat and was made correctly later. The sushi rice was too mushy and you have to ask for wasabi separately which was interesting that it didn't come with it already. Also my kimchi roll didn't come with enough kimchi in the roll for me to even taste enough of it.
Either way, this is a good place for you to go enjoy the concept of sushi and tap your feet into what...
Read moreI've been a customer for nearly seven years, and while this place remains one of the best sushi spots in Nicaragua, it’s not without its flaws. The owners are fantastic people, and their dedication to quality is evident. However, the service, while generally excellent, can sometimes be inconsistent depending on the staff on duty.
That being said, the balance between price and quality is hard to beat. It’s budget-friendly without compromising too much on freshness or presentation. While there’s always room for improvement, especially in speed and consistency, this remains one of the top choices for sushi...
Read moreThis place had the most rude waiter who has incompetent and also spiteful. Even reluctant to giving me the drunk I requested. The food is too expensive for it to be only of "average" taste. Don't be misled, a higher price doesn't necessarily equate to higher quality food. Especially in this restaurant. My margarita had 0% alcohol in it. Most of the people at my table didn't have any alcohol in their mixed drinks either. Terrible service and...
