Edit August 2023: I last reviewed TostoMetro a few years ago. After a recent visit, I am happy to report that this restaurant is better than ever. Really one of Granada's gems.
Original Review: If you are walking down the market, you might walk past this place and not even notice it. Or you might just look at the menu with a fee items, and continue on. Both would be a mistake.
The "Banana Burger" is named that because instead of bread, they use tostones (plantains). So it is good for those with gluten issues. Everything is fresh, and you can tell they put thought into their food, and take pride in what they serve.
The fresh grilled locally sourced vegetables are really good. And the price is very reasonable.
So if you are wanting a delicious meal and are passing by, do yourself a favor and pop in and try it. Its a unique place, and you wont leave disappointed.
The frsecos are delicious, and less sugary than some others you will find. I like the...
Read moreThis place is amazing! The service and food are excellent. My friend and I walked in and were greeted warmly upon arrival. We were then told about drink choices and the menu, all of which sounded delicious. We ordered the ginger and hibiscus tea, which were both refreshing and flavorful but not overly sweet. Then we ordered the beef and chicken burgers. We were given a delicious little snack while we waited, and then the burgers came. Not only was the initial presentation lovely, but they were both steaming hot and absolutely divine. The flavor was unlike anything I’ve tasted down here and I would definitely recommend both their avocado and pumpkin sauces. So yummy! Throughout the meal people would check up on us, everyone was super friendly and I felt very welcomed. When we were finished we were given a spoonful of a ginger/ fig leaf/ honey concoction that was the perfect way to end the meal. Not to mention the prices are fantastic! I will definitely...

This place is a must-try if you're in Granada. After 4 months of traveling through South and Central America, this was the most memorable meal I’ve had.
I ordered the beef banana burger and it was mind-blowing.
The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the sauces, made from the chef’s mom’s secret recipes took it to the next level.
The pumpkin sauce with ginger and honey and the avocado sauce were out of this world.
They even served a pumpkin ginger honey dessert for free which was such a thoughtful touch. The hibiscus and ginger juice was fresh, flavorful and paired beautifully with the meal.
The chef is incredibly kind and clearly passionate about his craft, you can literally taste the love in every bite.
Also, special mention to the music playlist, great vibe all around.
I’ll definitely go back, and I already know I’ll be dreaming about this taste...
