Parking was easy and we got help. They ensured compliance to covid measures. Downstairs is nice but we went up which I'd advice because there are more sitting options. You can sit outside if you'd prefer, there are umbrellas if its sunny. There is the private sitting area away from everyone else if you'd prefer or different sitting arrangements inside. It's well lit with various feeding instructions on the walls dubbed with aqua elements. The OB table overlay also give it an oceanic feel with the various ocean design elements. The light fittings were a nice touch 👌🏽. Now to the food. I'm not the biggest sea food lover but I did enjoy my meal. The bread and butter was a good start. I had the famous fish and chips, and I enjoyed the fish. The chips was good. Not the biggest fan of fried rice but I was satisfied with theirs. I greatly enjoyed the strawberry decadent milkshake I took. The ocean basket special mocktail my friend had came across as a less sweetened ribena, it was good enough. The bite of the ocean was basically the famous fish and chips with prince prawns and calamari. Both were delicious. I ordered a side of stir fried veggies but they never came till my meal was done, so I cancelled it. Last was the chocolate lava cake with ice cream. They blend well with the chilled sweet taste of the ice cream and deep after taste of the dark chocolate. Customer care was good, they could be a bit more helpful. The music and music system was good enough to augment the ambience. The rest room needs some maintenance and can use a creative touch. Hans and Rene are downstairs which is really convenient. But the rain didn't let us get to it. All in all a lovely place to dine.

We had sunday family lunch here and I had mixed feelings about it. The nice part: Wait time was fair. We had some fried calamaris and free bread while waiting for the main dish. Our drinks came in fairly quick. The Milk shake was really nice. We had a platter, the prawns, mussels, calamari and fish were more than enough but the side - rice was quite small for the platter so we had to order some more. The meals mostly tasted nice. The extra rice came hard tho. We were able to try sushi for the first time - in small bits. We all had different thoughts about it. 🙂 The space was alright, it has both upstairs and downstairs and an outdoor seating space. The ACs could be cooler considering the weather tho. The terrible part: I ordered a virgin colada and it arrived tasting and looking funny - like frozen milk. I tried stirring it, after which I mentioned to the waiter my concerns. He also suggested that I mixed it, since I already did that, I told him to do it himself. He took it away to do that. When he returned, it looked well mixed but I didn’t bother trying it. Instead I opted for milk shake. I told him to take it away, but he left it there. After a while, the colada separated to water and milk. Picture attached. I was glad I didn’t take it. When the waiter returned for the bill, I showed him and he got his manager to come. The manager tried explaining to me that everything used was fresh and it was a normal thing with colada; despite seeing the content of the glass- all not to change it or charge for it. That one action alone almost ruined my meal and all the nice bits of the restaurant. So RUNN FARRRR from their colada. That’s why it’s only 2 stars. Good luck.

Ocean Basket is new and the environment is everything!! They have both outdoor and indoor sitting settings. You can also decide to seat inside in a secluded place or downstairs. It's a total package réstaurant and I was thoroughly impressed. The food prices are also manageable and they offer more of sea food as the name implies "ocean Basket" The sea food tastes so good. They gave us a complimentary meal of bread with butter, garlic, mayonnaise sauce and one I can't remember. After that, we ordered a started of fried prawn with pepper sauce for just N2000 and It was so good. It was also served in a fry pan. Then our drinks came at just 1500 and 2000 each. I had a fruit mix of pineapple, watermelon and orange while my husband had long Island. I was surprised their drinks are not pricey at all! Then the main course meal came, we had a calamari Platter for 2 and we couldn't even finish it. This cost 13500 and we had it fried. You have an option of grilling or frying? It was a wonderful ambience with courteous staff and delicious meal. A great hangout spot for your birthdays and dinner date. Look at the pictures and tell me what you can find. Lool

i have always been a fan of ALL ocean baskets. me and my husbannn frequent to all of them. this last visit to eat there i must say IT HAD BEEN OVA FIVE MONTHS TIME since we had been there. neitha of us were happy with the service to the degree that we didn't even orda. that is how POOR of the quality of service it was. the server was unknowledgeable of their own menu. they weren't even crowded OR busy. we had to ask if someone could take our order THREE different timez. first time no one came. i than waited 16 FULLL MINUTES to than go inside from the balcony to ask IF sumone could come take our orda. TO WAIT 12 more minutes. the server that came couldn't even reply my husbannn dey answers to his inquiry about de fish-does it make sense na? WOW. we just looced at each otha n' just got up and left. waste of time in travel and wait. we won't be returnin to this location. upon leavin we traveled to anotha ocean basket where service was very prompt, professional, we were greeted, our food wuz awesome AND the servers were educated on wut wuz on their menu in the sense to answer what they were able to serve n' add AND NOT add or serve. not even for a free meal would we be returnin to...
