bad customer service both manager and staff act like you will make an order and not pay for it even if you are a recognized customer which isn't ordering for the first time. I placed my order went to my car picked my atm card came to pay for food that I bought and the bouncer was pushing me to my surprise I called for the attention of the manager and the said they have no pending orders I told him to ask the sales girl who took my order and she claimed that she canceled the order because she didn't see me all within a time frame of less than 10 minutes. this is just one instance as a regular customer who has been patronizing them for years this is just the last straw that broke the camels back. there are so many times they have let me down . Another time I placed an order over the phone for payment on pick up by 4.AM only for me to get there and they say sorry they have run out of ingredients after burning my fuel and time when I could have been told on the phone earlier on atleast. On another instance I placed an order came to pay while they had a faulty pos machine on that day I offered to pay via transfer and wait there until the receive payment but the manager insisted we try my card the food was about 15000 naira tried twice it didn't work and regardless I was debited I ended up paying via transfer and they received the money immediately. I asked them about the other 2 payments I made and how I would get my refund or reversal they said not to worry my bank will reverse the money to me . it took weeks for me to get the first reversal and months for the second to the extent of me going into my bank of 15 years plus with no complaints and threatening to close my account with them if they don't resolve the issue , they gave me a receipt and showed that the money is in jays diner account and they can't do anything about it they can only give me a receipt to show jays diner All the while being treated as tho I was lying and my receipt was forged making me wait till for weeks for them to contact their accountant at the end food of that was supposed to cost me 14800 naira ended up costing me about 50000 naira if you add the fuel and time cost but I didn't take it personally I've been in the food business since 2017 as a chef I've worked in different organizations and even 5 star hotels , so I understand that there is a learning process for them and their staff to be up to par with the level of others high end restaurants, but this is the first time I'm giving a bad review because this is somewhere I frequently go to with them not wanting to Improve their customer service rather they have even declined its better to go somewhere else where they will appreciate you and respect you as a customer spending your hard earned money . I will never go back to jays diner and I will never recommend it to anyone again. Being one of the only restaurants open after 12A.M -5A.M doesn't give jays diner the authority or rights to be jerks or rude to clients or customers .if you don't believe me please by all means go to jays diner but don't say that you...

I placed an order for delivery as I normally do and tried to pay with bank card, it was refusing the payment. I tried it again like 3x, because I’ve ordered from here a few times before, yet it kept refusing my card. I decided to go with Bank Transfer, it went through on my side, i was charged , I sent their customer service line all the confirmations from my bank, including receipts. Their website would not load past the ‘confirming payment’ page and if i tried to refresh it would take me back to main page where you order from, bearing in mind I HAVE BEEN CHARGED. I kept on telling the customer service this, but all he kept saying was there was an error and they’ll confirm a refund, but also saying they haven’t seen the payment. How can you perform a refund for money that apparently isn’t there?! Like why the hell can’t things just work smoothly in this country, i needed this food to take my medication and i was trusting in their service because they hadn’t let me down before, but this was a truly horrible experience , i went to bed feeling extremely ill with a terrible migraine because i couldn’t have my medication with my food. I love this place! The hotdogs are simply the best I've had in Lagos. They’re juicy, flavorful, and served with a variety of delicious toppings that makes every bite a mouthwatering delight. Whether you prefer classic toppings or something more adventurous, Jay's Diner has you covered. I’d recommend The Los. I love a bit of spice and they come with jalapeños. Delicious!
