The Muri Okunola park has lush green grass and is surrounded by beautiful flowers, gardens and trees. It has a capacity to carry up to 2000 people, and 500 for banquet-style events. The park is open from 8 am to 8 pm daily and entrance into the park is free except for the days when events are held there. A taxi fare from Obalende to Muri Okunola Park costs about 500 to 1000 naira.

Muri Okunola Park is known for its beauty and serenity. People mostly visit the park to enjoy nature and relax. You should know that the park is only serene on weekdays when there are not many cars on the road. It is most lively during weekends when so many people are around and so many things are being showcased. The park is one of the best places to take amazing pictures and videos. If you will be taking pictures with a digital camera, be aware that you will be charged hourly.

The Muri Okunola Park houses mini restaurants and shops where you can buy food and other things. There is a standby generator and speakers available for music. It has a wheelchair enabled parking lot and entrance. The parking lot has officers of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) on standby in case of emergencies. The park also provides free unlimited wifi access, and clean toilets are available. For those who would like to come along with their children or younger siblings, the Muri Okunola Park has a fun kiddies section for the younger ones.

The very first important thing to come along with is your camera or a camera-enabled smartphone for those who might not want to pay the hourly rate. Picnic sets such as a blanket or mat, a picnic basket containing, food, fruits, water and drinks can also be brought for those coming in groups. Comfortable clothes, money, and sunscreen too. Sadly, some parts of the park get flooded when it rains so flip flops are also advisable, especially for those who love walking barefoot in parks.

As earlier mentioned, the Police are always sighted in the car park for emergency reasons. However, it is best to lock your cars and always keep your belongings with you in order to avoid theft and cases of stolen property. Also, remember to keep an eye on your children and young ones while they play and run around in the...

Muri Okunola Park has been my go-to destination recently for a few of the jobs that I do as a portrait photographer. This month of October, this is about my 5th visit to the park. The ambience of the space especially in the cool mornings and evenings keep bringing me back there. There is an enclosed restaurant within the space and a exclusive low-budget bar as well. The bar has a screen that shows football matches especially at weekends. I noticed a barbeque spot there too. I don't know what the pricing is like, neither am I sure of the taste. The grass in the lawns are sparsely distributed. Extreme weather conditions would not be good for visitors as there doesnt seem to be an enclosure where you can easily hide way from violent rains or scorching sun other than the open bar and the seemingly deserted restaurant. In all, I love being here for my portrait shoots. If your client is a private person, this space may not be for you as you could find a number of other photographers there too doing couple...

It is a nice and lovely park. Can be used to host any kind of event. Series of events are been held here on a frequent basis. The park is well cared for. Carpet grasses are well trimmed and watered properly. You have a lot of sitting areas in the park where you could sit comfortably to eat your food. The park is very wide and large. Everywhere is wheelchair accessible. Entrance too is accessible. There is also a large sheltered areas located in park. The park is also children friendly, family friendly and group friendly. The kids would definitely have a nice time playing all around the park as there is much they can do around. You have a lot of food vendors at the park ranging from grill cocktails, chops, smoothies grill tents etc. Security was tight as the event i attended brought in their private security. I can't say much about the security of the park itself. Cars are parked just outside right in front of the park. I enjoyed my visit to the park and I would definitely visit again.

It’s an open space park with trees, grasses and benches in Victoria Island off Ozumba Mbadiwe close to Law School. The park is open to everyone for picnics and hangouts, video and photo shoots (comes with a fee of N2,500 per hour). It can be accessed by anyone and oh there’s free WiFi in the park but the coverage is not all over the park. Didn’t get to try all the tuck shops at the park but i did try out Beyond Fab Smoothies and i love ❤️ love 💕 love 💗 their parfait and Gelato parfait. The park is also used for concerts, shows, pop-up events etc... (for a fee). Don’t like the fact that during the dry seasons the management of the park does not wet the grasses which in turn reduces the lush look that a park should have because trees would be almost leafless and dry 🍁 and grasses are not green. Would always go back for the parfait though or just place an order.
