A taxi fare from Obalende to Muri Okunola Park costs about 500 to 1000 naira.

You should know that the park is only serene on weekdays when there are not many cars on the road. It is most lively during weekends when so many people are around and so many things are being showcased. The park is one of the best places to take amazing pictures and videos. If you will be taking pictures with a digital camera, be aware that you will be charged hourly.
The Muri Okunola Park houses mini restaurants and shops where you can buy food and other things. There is a standby generator and speakers available for music. It has a wheelchair enabled parking lot and entrance. The parking lot has officers of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) on standby in case of emergencies. The park also provides free unlimited wifi access, and clean toilets are available. The ambience of the space especially in the cool mornings and evenings keep bringing me back there. There is an enclosed restaurant within the space and a exclusive low-budget bar as well. The bar has a screen that shows football matches especially at weekends. I noticed a barbeque spot there too. I don't know what the pricing is like, neither am I sure of the taste. The grass in the lawns are sparsely distributed. Extreme weather conditions would not be good for visitors as there doesnt seem to be an enclosure where you can easily hide way from violent rains or scorching sun other than the open bar and the seemingly deserted restaurant.
