Chi Thai Revolution Restaurant — Restaurant in Maitama

Location = 80. A bit of a breath of fresh air to have a restaurant in Maitama that is not on or off Gana Street. Inconspicuous, as there is no signpost or visible indicator that a restaurant is located there.

Food/Pricing = 90 Food was great. Had the Special of the Day and wasn't disappointed. One portion is just enough to serve one person. The food is slightly expensive. Starters cost 4k and above. Drinks are at 3k and above. Main meals start from 7k and above. The menu is quite vast. Wait time was about 5 - 7 minutes for starters and 15 - 25 minutes for the main meals.

Service = 100 Staff were generally pleasant and courteous.

Ambience - The restaurant is dimly lit and perhaps, most suitable for a date night out for couples or something...

Since our fist experience, which was 5*, we have been ordering in several times and the food and service was always okay, until yesterday: While ordered for 6pm (and well in advance), delivery came 45 minutes late, and the food was lukewarm and rather disappointing. My complaint was met with excuses that there were not enough drivers on Valentine's Day - but honestly, if you can't organize drivers, you can't take as many takeout orders, let alone for delivery at the same time, otherwise you'll disappoint your patrons. I will not be ordering again...

This is lovely place, where you can get a great fusion of Chinese and Thai food. They also have sushi, which was quite refreshing. The restaurant is very cosy ... perfect for dates, but also good for group outings. Just be sure to call and book ahead because it's a small place that can get filled quickly.
