Trattoria del Napoli — Restaurant in Bergen

The place is listed as open until 10:00 PM, but when we arrived at 9:20 PM, we were told the kitchen was already closed. That’s extremely disrespectful to customers. Especially disappointing considering someone right in front of us was still able to order a pizza. I’ve been here before and the pizza is good — that’s the only reason I’m giving one star instead of zero. But the service? Absolutely zero stars. Tiny place, very few tables, and clearly no interest in accommodating guests even well before closing time. I do not recommend this place anymore. Pizza alone can’t make up for this...

This place is a hidden gem in Bergen that you should not miss if you're looking for an excellent pizza time!

first of all, thanks to the very friendly owner that welcomed us and served us well! The prices are totally fair and quite low compared to the other pizzeria in town adding the fact that you'll be served a very generous and tasty Pizza, I took the Bismark and it was DELICIOUS and I was totally full after it. This restaurant is a very rare find that does pizza just like they do in Italy. The pizza dough is light, chewy and yeasty, and the ingredients are fresh. Each pizza is a balance of flavours, which reminded me so much of what I had when I was staying in Italy. What blew me away was that they used a wood fired oven, which gives the crust a nice char and smokiness that you cannot find with a conventional gas-fired oven or by using a pizza slate.
