Maybe good for trying the local seafood if you are in a hurry. All very fresh. Good fish soup. Great namebrand beer. Cheerful staff. As a seafood fan though, could not recommend it. Unnecessarily expensive (600 NOK a full plate, half is potato salad and vegetables), and servers also will push you display food instead of make you a new plate. There are cheaper and better options literally just around the corners, to both sides.Try some things and move elsewhere. Recommend Fishme Market and Sostrene Hagelin closeby....

Very strange that this location is placed together with the larger fish market with multiple stalls across the street. This place is in the middle of various stores and does not look like a restaurant but you'd be wrong. The best Bergen fish soup I've had and I've had 1. Beware that seafood can be extremely pricey. Cooking style is standard street food-styled panfried or steamed on a grilling stove.
