We have been coming back to this restaurant from the first time we've tried it, we even shared it to our friends and its always the first choice for us but last weekend was not a good experience. There was no problem with the food but the service was not so satisfying. So we ordered their famous dish and we have waited for some time before it arrived but when it came it came in bigger portions so we said to the one serving us that we have ordered a smaller one but she insisted it was what we ordered. So we have started touching our food and we are about to eat it when the one working there came back. Without any "excuse me, or sorry , or any sort of apology, she took our food and said there was a mistake. And we knew it from the very beginning but since she insisted that was our order, we didn't mind. While waiting, we saw the other table ordered the same, and it was the same size and number of bowls as what was taken from our table. Our order came after that in the right sizes. Before we left the restaurant I talked to them and said our concern about hygiene, and they said they threw the food that was taken from our table. If you will eventually throw the food, should you not just give it to the customers even if it was one size bigger since its your mistake? In this case, there will be less commotions about hygiene, customer service and so on. Then your customer will be even more satisfied and will even come back with...
Read moreI visited after seeing mostly positive reviews, but the place didn’t match the photos at all—I should’ve left and found somewhere else.
The restaurant lacks atmosphere due to its dated décor and poor layout. Tables were inconsistently set with sauces, which made it feel disorganised.
Only one waitress was working, and while my order was taken in reasonable time, the food was disappointing. I ordered three starters: a beef dish, beef gyoza, and tempura prawns. The beef arrived cold and without rice, then was microwaved and returned. The gyoza were okay but clearly shop-bought. The prawns were breadcrumbed and mushy—not tempura. When I mentioned this, the chef admitted he didn’t know what tempura batter was and had just deep-fried them from a packet.
Overall, expect a poor atmosphere and reheated, shop-bought food. At 400 NOK, it’s...
Read morePositive: the waiter girl was nice and polite, she came with chopstix and normal cutlery, the sidedish of wings was pretty good, place was clean and nice atmosphere.
Negative: we waited 45min for a side dish of wings and an hour for the main course, the pad thai was kinda dry and bland, overpowering chilli taste, it had some bites of paprika and dunno why, couldn't taste any nuts or nut sausce, not traditional pad thai noodles were used plus they were...
