We stopped in on a rainy day and bought a couple of lattes and jumped on the WiFi. After about 20 mins the WiFi completely went away, the router name was no longer visible on our laptops or phones. We ask the lady that seemed to be the owner and she replied “it’s working it connected to visa machine” and then walked off, not offering to help in anyway. However the WiFi never came back on, a little later she walked back over and asked us to move, we asked her where would you like us to move and she pointed at the small bar tops by the windows which there really isn’t room for laptops and we kinda just looked back her then she said “I am not renting out spaces here”. Briggen Kafebar is an absolute treasure in Reine! Nestled in one of the most breathtaking locations on Earth, this cozy café could have easily settled for being just “good enough” given its remote setting—but instead, it excels in every way.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making you feel at home despite the dramatic Arctic surroundings. The staff, especially the wonderful waitress, is incredibly welcoming and full of local tips that make your visit even more special.

And then there’s the Cinnabon roll. Hands down, the best I’ve ever had—fluffy, perfectly crunchy on the outside, and packed with just the right amount of cinnamon. It’s a true masterpiece.

We only stopped in for a short while during our stay in Reine but discovered Lofoten's gem when it comes to baked goods. I totally fell in love with their cinnamon rolls, ate them every day in large quantities and have not regretted it. I always found them fresh and hot in the morning.
