When we came here, the bench outside was wet and it wasn't raining - weird but we sit to the next table. Ordered two burgers inside and two cokes. After few minutes food arrived. Let me tell you, it was the first restaurant after 10 days we found open (yea we spend our holidays in mountains so that was is) and ww were like finally! Open restaurant!! So the food arrived and fries were... rock hard... wait a second what? Not like crunchy but hard. Fork was afraid of them. Burger was some kind of a mix between amarican / Italian something - but, ok. Oil was the main ingredient on a plate and salad on the side dry like a road in the desert. 250kr... Eh... I did had much higher expectations from restaurant with "trip advisor sticker". Anyway we ate it - we were hungry after all. After that miss server came to the next table (already finished their meal) and took a glass with no finish water and toss the water all across the table and bench to the bushes! Aha! That's why the bench was wet!! Mistery solved. After I needed to go to the toilet and saw a bit of a kitchen. Oh man was I sorry that I didn't do this first. Just a peek to the kitchen and smell of over fried oil was a no-no. Anyway... would I recommend this place? Maybe... It's close to the folk museum... It's edible I guess... And maybe, just maybe... Someone can find this food pleasant... But us? Not really and if next time we will find...

We had a great time at this cafe/restaurant/pub. The bartender was Portuguese, and as a Portuguese speaker myself, it was really nice to have a brief and friendly conversation – such a lovely exchange!

The service was great, and our food arrived quickly. I found the prices to be quite reasonable. The burgers with fries were 268 NOK each and absolutely delicious. The mayonnaise that came with the fries was very tasty – I have a feeling they make it in-house. The burger ingredients seemed super fresh and high quality. The bun had roasted cherry tomatoes baked into the dough, which gave it a lovely pizza-like flavour – it was a really special and tasty touch that I loved.

I chose the “Mona’s egg & bacon burger” and my husband went for the “Thor Egil’s BBQ burger.” Both were excellent. A pint of beer was 130 NOK.

We sat outside as it was a beautiful sunny day, which made the experience even better. I’d definitely come back – it’s a great spot for a pit stop between museum visits.

Note: I did notice a bit of a strange smell inside the cafe, but overall it didn’t take away from...

The place is terrible. We were given dirty glasses and silverware, and warm water. The service was awful, both servers were extremely rude, and did whatever they could to ignore us. The food arrived 1 hour and a half after ordering, and it was, again, terrible: somehow, they managed to serve us cold meat, both the chicken and the burger. To put it in other terms, the place is not worth your time and your money, my best guess is it's only open because there are really no...

Delicious food, great service, cozy atmosphere. We loved our food, my partner got the seafood sandwich and I got the vegan burger with a gluten free bun. They could accommodate most dishes as gluten free and had vegetarian options. The house white wine was absolutely delicious and the beer on tap was also good. Definitely recommend!
